Abstract

The purpose of this study to develop a car ignition system media panel displays which can be a learning media in automobile ignition systems, and apply the learning cycle-based learning model panel displays the results of development as an effort to increase student competence in the material car ignition system. Classroom action research study (TOD) was started from the planning stage (action plan), implementation (implementation actions), observation, and reflection that followed re-planning if it is still encountered problems. Implementation of learning by applying the learning cycle model “5E”. Subjects were students taking courses in Automotive Electrical Prodi. Education Mechanical Engineering, while the object of research is, the application of learning cycle-based learning model viewer panel. Indicators of success of this study is at least more than 50% of participants learning to obtain the value 86 (A). The results showed that application of model-based panel LC displays in three cycles to reach the benchmark of success is as much as 61.55% of research participants learn to obtain a score of 86 to the upper (A). From these results, it is advisable to apply the learning in the LC model as upya pemebalajaran process to increase participants’ understanding of learning in learning menguasmateri.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove the existence of grammatical cohesion in the research report text of the lectures of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University and to identify the various devices used in the text of the research report, from the lecturer of Faculty of Languages and Arts, Semarang State University. The research was conducted with qualitative and descriptive approach. The source of research data is the lecturer’s text of the research report that there are seven research report. Research data in the form of text snippets of the Semarang State University’s lecurer’s research report that allegedly contain grammatical cohesion. The findings of this study is the presence of grammatical cohesion in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecturer’s text of the research report on the use of words or phrases. Grammatical cohesion devices in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecture’s text research report, which covers (1) reference (reference), (2) substitution, (3) ellipsis, and (4) conjunction. Based on these findings, it can be put forward suggestions that language users should be able to make use of grammatical cohesion in an effort to speak effectively and efficiently, both verbal and written. Excavations of various grammatical cohesion devices in the Faculty of Language and Art Semarang State University ‘lecture’s text research report should continue to be given the possibility of using other devices than those found in this study.

Abstract

The aims of this development are (1) to describe the art of dance training model which have ever given, (2) to describe of training needs of the appreciation of local dance for the teacher of elementary school, (3) to describe first draft of the appreciation of local dance training model for the elementary school teacher, (4) to describe the result of the first design of draft model and set of appreciation training of local dance for the elementary school teacher, (5) to describe the result of expert team evaluation (expert of management, art, and lecture of the art of dance) to the model of training set which is useful for elementary school teacher training; (6) to describe the limited trial result of the implementation of appreciation training model of local dance for elementary school teacher; (7) to describe the appreciation training model of local dance which is developed after getting the trial. The research method is Research and Development (R & D). The implementation of model uses single one shot case study design with one group pre-test and post-test. Survey respondents are primary school teachers in Makassar. Data collection interview and questionnaires. Effectiveness of the model is tested through test validation by experts and practitioners, as well as a limited experiment through training. And, the data is analyzed descriptively. The findings of this study are the aspects which affect the needs and success of ASTNDS training implementation. They are: (1) training materials, (2) training programs, (3) the form of training, (4) training instructor, (5) training facilities & infrastructure, and (6) CD of dance training. Other findings are generating ASTNDS training model and devices which refers to management functions (2-steps planning; 4-steps implementation, and 2-steps evaluation). Validation and experimental test results show that the model of a hypothetical model of local dance is effective for primary school teachers training. Researcher recommends applying ASTNDS model and training devices in a primary school teacher training because it is proved that it is effective for teacher training on the subject of art, culture and skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Based on the questionnaire to students UNNES Natural Sciences Department of Chemistry, professor of learning methods are still in the form of lectures and such very boring for students. Moreover, the material is an organic chemistry lecture course, especially the less favored and considered difficult by students because it is abstract, so it needs to be assisted visualization. It is therefore interesting to study as well as creativity and innovation fostering student learning and not so monotonous. The purpose of this study to determine the increase in life skill-oriented students Chemoentrepreneurship (CEP) through the STAD cooperative learning. This research is a class act consisting of three cycles. Each stage consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study is a student of Chemistry Department of Education UNNES third semester. Focus examined in this study is the increase in life skill students (academic skills). The data obtained and analyzed using descriptive methods to determine the increase in student life skill. From the research, learning classical exhaustiveness increased from stage I (43%), stage II (50%), and stage III (86%). The average score life skill (cognitive aspects) college students increased from cycle I, II, and III, respectively, 71.28; 78.21 and 89.15 .. Based on the results of this study can be concluded that the life skill students can be increased through the STAD cooperative learning-oriented CEP.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of IT-based learning application program Ms. Access in improving students’ understanding on the subject of an inventory of supplies management courses. Competence standards is considered successful if the student has the following indicators (a) at least 75% of students scored at the end of seventy (b) the activity and attention of students during the learning process increases. As for the professor, is considered successful when the learning management capabilities increase. This research is a class act. The research was carried out in vocational education administration office with a time of study for 6 months. The number of students is one of a number of study groups 54 people. The results demonstrate the application of IT-based learning program Ms Acces very effective in increasing student understanding of the subject inventory. It also increases the activity and attention of students during the learning process and learning ability of lecturers in the subject of inventory management. Advice related to the results of this study are: (1) At the time of implementing IT-based learning application program on the subject of Ms Access inventory of facilities and infrastructure should support such as the Internet network must already exist and are connected properly, (2) In order to optimize the learning process, lecturer at the beginning of lectures should give examples of using the program in advance to students with a coherent phase.

Abstract

The team’s findings pengampu lecturer in learning suggests that students when given an assignment to create / modify props / lab science experience difficulties. Most students collect assignments product is not the work itself or the group, but the Internet search results. From the assessment results of the assignment, less than 30% of students who scored ≥ 75 so that if no immediate action is taken, the course learning objectives IPA Professional Development Teacher is not reached. Research purposes to improve the ability of students in developing appropriate technology fields Science Education. The study was conducted in a class action Prodi Science Education with the goal of student rombel 2, which amounted to 25 people. Results showed students have been able to create or modify props / lab science well, evidenced from the appraisal report containing a draft study visit product design with a range of scores obtained between 82 to 91 and from assessments of products that have made students more than 70% have earned a good category. The conclusions of this research is the ability of students in developing appropriate technology education can be improved through the implementation of study visit.

Abstract

The problem of this study were (1) how the model construction and evaluation instruments (2) whether the instrument can be used to evaluate the results of the implementation of learning English curriculum in Biological Science Education Program UNNES lecturer in terms of performance indicators. Development of research aims to produce an evaluation instrument and whether the instrument can be used to find English-language classes are conducted in accordance with the expected success criteria I-MHERE program for faculty performance indicators. Methods of model development to take some model development procedure Borg & Gall. Model validation is done through focus group discussions and request a written opinion of an expert. The data were analyzed descriptively and used to produce products in the form of evaluation instruments for use in model evaluation context, input, prosses, and product or the Stufflebeam CIPP. The results component in the form of instruments to evaluate faculty input, the input component of the curriculum, and the components of the curriculum implementation process of learning English I-MHERE Prodi Education in Biology, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, in particular to review the indicators UNNES lecturer. The instrument has been developed to serve the purpose of such instruments are developed until the early trials.

Abstract

The need for this study stems from the accumulation of non-tuntasan learn physics due to the integration of assessment with learning in school. The formulation of the problem is how to develop an online assessment system for the diagnosis of cognitive junior physics using computerized adaptive testing (CAT) in order to facilitate the realization of assessment for learning in school? While the goal is to design and build a prototype system question bank and online cognitive diagnostic assessment using CAT for junior high school Physics. Development is done using the system development life cycle (SDLC) and a checklist to identify the data on compliance with specifications question bank, a prototype system assessment, cognitive diagnosis report, and revised prototype. Exploratory descriptive approach shows that with open source technologies potentially resulting product can be run on the network to the Internet or local computer networks in schools. Physics problem decomposed into components of problemsolving as measured by two 2-tier multiple choice items. Problems (testlet) packaged in modules that are presented to the user is adaptive to the user’s level of cognitive ability. Cognitive profile of qualitative and quantitative diagnosis of the resulting constructive learning process for improvement. Prototype results of this study can be accessed at: http://aku-bisa.com.

Abstract

The problem in this study were: whether the Interactive Learning Module can improve achievement and learning outcomes Oxygen acetylene Welding Course Education Student of Mechanical Engineering, State University of Semarang. The purpose of making this interactive learning module are: to determine whether student learning outcomes of Mechanical Engineering Education, State University of Semarang Lecture Oxygen acetylene welding can be increased with the Interactive Learning Module and find out whether the learning activities of Education Student of Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Semarang on Oxygen Welding courses acetylene can be improved with an interactive learning module. Subjects in the study of this class action are: Student Education Mechanical Engineering Faculty of Engineering, State University of Semarang Odd semester of 2011/2012 academic year, amounting to 40 students. The research method used in this study were: research methods class action (PTK). This class action research using research design adopted in the two cycles, namely cycle I and cycle II. The results of this study are: Interactive Learning Module can improve achievement and learning outcomes on Oxygen acetylene Welding Course Education Student of Mechanical Engineering, State University of Semarang, the Interactive Learning Module can improve achievement and learning outcomes in Las oxy Asetelin competence in education of students of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering State University of Semarang.
